ADJ has over 35 years of experience in the entertainment lighting industry and the first products in the current Encore series originally came to market in 2017 with just two Fresnel fixtures; the Encore FR150Z and the Encore FR50Z. Since then ADJ has release a series of Encore blinders, four Ellipsoidals models, and in 2022 will release a series of Encore IP65 Pars featuring a red, green, blue, lime LED engine.
Over the past five years The Encore Series has proven to be extremely successful because of the feature sets and the build quality. They have been installed in theatres, churches, concert halls, conference centers and a wide variety of other venues all over the world. The Encore Profile Pro Color is a stand out fixture among the company’s four Ellipsoidals because of the versatility to provides lighting designers and installers. It utilizes a 250W 6-in-1 RGBWAL LED engine, which also boasts an impressive 50,000 hour average operational life. Through independent dimming control of the red, green, blue, white, amber and lime LED elements, this fixture can be used to generate a huge gamut of colors ranging from vibrant primaries to subtle hues. It can also be used to generate color-corrected white light, with a macro function providing easy selection of a range of different Kelvin color temperatures from 2400K to 9000K. It has a light output of 6,000 lumens (measured with a 26° lens) and offers a CRI in excess of 90.
The Encore Profile Pro Color and Encore Profile Pro WW are robust and reliable fixtures have an industry-standard design and can therefore be used with any existing Ellipsoidal lenses and accessories that a theatre, production company or rental house may already own. However, ADJ’s EP range of high-quality Ellipsoidal lenses are designed specifically for use with the Encore Profile Pro instruments. They feature precision designed and engineered optics to deliver excellent sharpness and an even field. Fixed lens tubes with beam angles of 14° (EP LENS 14), (EP LENS 19) 19°, (EP LENS 26) 26°, (EP LENS 36) 36° and (EP LENS 50) 50° are available.
A versatile Fresnel fixture making its debut in 2022, the Encore FR Pro Color, combines motorized zoom with enhanced color mixing potential and a CRI of over 94. Positioned behind a 7” lens, the unit’s powerful 400-Watt light source combines red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime LED chips to allow the creation of a huge gamut of colors as well as white light with tunable color temperature between 2400K and 8500K. To aid with programming in a variety of different situations, the fixture offers a virtual CMY color mixing mode as well as 62 pre-set white color temperatures, 60 virtual color wheel presets and 64 RGBA color macros, in addition to full independent color mixing control over the LED source’s six primary colors. The fixture offers motorized zoom, with a variable beam angle of between 7 and 44-degrees, and is supplied with a set of 4-leaf rotating barn doors which can be used to alter the shape of the light output.
Also arriving in 2022, The Encore Lime Par collection of IP65-rated LED wash fixtures feature 20W RGBL (red, green, blue, lime) color mixing LEDs that offer sensational brightness with a very high CRI. Offering a concise 10-degree beam angle, robust all-metal construction and IP65 ‘all weather’ rating, these fixtures are ideal for a wide variety of applications. They feature a versatile scissor yoke which can be used either as a floor stand or hanging bracket as well as 64 built-in color macros, 5 pre-set white color temperatures and linear color temperature control (between 2700K and 6500K) to aid with quick setup and programming. Three models will be available: Encore LP7IP, Encore LP12IP and Encore LP18IP, with 7, 12 and 18 LEDs respectively. A comprehensive collection of filters will also be available for each model, which clip neatly and securely over the LEDs, allowing the beam angle to be easily enlarged.
