Entour Pileus
The ADJ Entour Pileus is a powerful, professional atmospheric effects machine engineered to deliver everything from thick, dramatic fog to a lighter, evenly dispersed faze. Designed for touring productions, concert stages, theaters, large venues, and other demanding entertainment applications, it combines extremely high output with precise control and rugged road-ready construction.
Capable of producing up to 60,000 cubic feet of atmospheric output per minute, the Entour Pileus provides adjustable output from 5–100%, allowing operators to tailor atmospheric density to the application. An independently adjustable fan offers 5–100% speed control and can also be disconnected when fan-assisted dispersion is not required. With Continuous Mode disabled, the machine can deliver maximum-output bursts of up to 35 seconds. When Continuous Mode is enabled, the Entour Pileus automatically adjusts its output to provide longer sustained bursts.
The Entour Pileus incorporates a powerful 1500W heater and has a warm-up time of approximately 16.5 minutes. A built-in 30-second self-cleaning cycle helps maintain the internal fluid system and supports reliable operation. Dual 5.6-liter fluid tanks provide a combined 11.2-liter capacity, reducing the need for frequent refilling during extended productions.
For flexible operation, the Entour Pileus features an LCD display with a 4-button control interface and onboard timer control. DMX operation is available through 1, 2, or 4-channel modes, with professional 5-pin XLR DMX In/Outconnections. A 4-pin XLR connection is also provided for a remote controller.
Built for demanding production environments, the Entour Pileus is housed in a rugged road case enclosure with heavy-duty locking casters, making transportation and deployment easier while protecting the machine during regular touring use. A locking power input connection, fan cooling, and OVP (Over Voltage Protection) further support dependable professional operation.
The Entour Pileus operates at 120V/60Hz for the US market and 230V/50Hz for the European market, with maximum power consumption of 2150W. It is cETLus Certified and carries CE and UKCA conformity, with applicable LVD safety and EMC compliance for professional use.
