FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Please see our frequently asked questions below. Please feel free to send us your questions by clicking here.

how do i stop this item from performing full revolutions? It will be hung from a light stand(upside down) but i don't want it to be coming back in to my face.

Hello Richard. The only way to restrict the pan and tilt angles is to use a DMX Controller and program the lightshow to your specifiacations.

Do none of the on-board settings or built-in shows allow for a "forward facing only" or "restricted pan" show? Most mobile DJ's will use these hung from a stand or truss, controlled via the included IR Remote. Right now the light keeps shining at the DJ booth and not forward at the dance floor where it should spend most of it's time. I know DMX control could solve this, but seems a strange omission from the plug-and-play side of things.

These fixtures are limited in the on board menu as we carry DMX controllers to store shows and scenes so as not to add more processing to the fixture and make the on board menu already more difficult.

Would this fixture (as well as the Inno Pocket spot twin) be appropriate for use with a band on small to medium theater (2000 seat) stages? I'm considering hanging them anywhere from 15' to 20' up behind the band. Thank you.

They should work as back ground lighting just fine.

How many lumens does this fixture put out at 2 meters?

4823 Lumens at 2 Meters. There is a Photometric Chart avaliable on our web site.  Try www.adj.com/inno-pocket-spot  and look at the download for the Photometrics.

Is there an adapter to make these lights wi fly

You will need to purchase the WIFLY BATTERY. This will allow you to go DMX wireless.

I bought 2 of these for party. the are I set them up is not close to speakers. Can they play a pre programmed show WITHOUT hearing music or via DMX (ie is there like an "auto-play pre set show that doesn't need music to move)?

Hello Andrew,

Unfortunately, yes you would require music to have the lights dance around. Also make you have the sound sensitivity all the way up. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

can you/ how easy is it to swap out a gobo and customize?

Hello Darius,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, the gobos in the inno pocket spot are not replaceable. If your looking for a moving head with replaceable gobos look into the inno spot led. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Are there any Inno Pocket Spot pre-programmed shows that are available for download? In other words, download into pc for use with MyDMX.

We do not offer premade shows.

i've bought tow of these , and i've set on pan and tilt mode inverse , they work ok , but , i CANT use the remote control to change the colors and gobo, do i have to return them? i already bought an extra remote control , but didnt work either

Hello Jose,

Make sure that battery life protector (little plastic insert) was removed on the remote. Also keep in mind that this is an IR remote so it has to be pointed directly at the sensor which is located next to the Inno Pocket Spot display.  Does Stand By work?

Thanks,

Hi I just bought 4 of the Inno Pocket Spots and I have an issue I'm concerned about. When turning all 4 lights on the lights spin around. After making a full revolution the lights stop and start making loud clicking noises almost like the light is stuck. These noises are associated with strong vibrations as well. The noises and vibrations last for about 5-10 seconds. Is this normal? Or do my 4 units have some mechanical issues that I need to exchange them for? Thanks.

Hello Ben,

Thank you for reaching out to us. The clicking sounds are normal when powering on the inno pocket spots. The reason is make those sounds like that, is because the motors are resetting. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
