Halloween is a great opportunity to be creative and this year we want to see all of the ways ADJ products are put to use in spooky settings. We’re offering you the chance to win one of three fantastic prizes simply by using your ADJ fixtures as part of a Halloween display and tagging us in the photos or video on social media.
With the Coronavirus pandemic disrupting live events and large social gatherings all over the world in 2020, it’s our aim with this contest to spread cheer and evoke a creative spark to lighting designers and haunt enthusiasts as we celebrate Halloween in the ‘great outdoors.’ With outdoor events becoming more prevalent, such as: pumpkin patches productions, drive thru haunted housed and live music events, this is a great opportunity for lighting designers to share their creation and win some cool ADJ Lighting prizes!
Your contest entry could be a Halloween project you’re creating for a client or you could simply use your ADJ lighting, video or effects equipment to decorate your own yard, front porch or home for the holiday. It probably goes without saying, but in whatever you do to celebrate Halloween and enter the contest, please be safe, take any necessary precautions and practice social distancing.
There are countless ways to use ADJ lighting and effects equipment to enhance Halloween displays, but if you need ideas take a look at our blog post: At Halloween, Atmosphere Is Everything! Whatever you do, if you want to win, you’ll need to use your imagination! We’ll be selecting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners based on how good the photos/videos look as well as the creative use of ADJ products. The contest is open to anyone around the world and you can enter as many times as you like, just be sure to let us know what ADJ fixture(s) you have used in the description of your social media post(s) and include the hashtag #ADJSpooktacular.
How To Enter
- Create a Halloween display or lightshow using one or more ADJ fixtures
- Post a video or photos to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
- Include the hashtag #ADJSpooktacular
- List the ADJ product(s) used as part of the post
Once the contest has closed at the witching hour on Halloween (12 midnight Pacific time on October 31st), the ADJ team will comb social media for every post that uses the#ADJSpooktacular hashtag and choose three winners based on the creative use of ADJ fixtures and the aesthetic appeal of the photos/video. We’ll then exclusively announce the winners via our social media channels on Wednesday, November 4th. Three winners will be selected who will receive the following prizes:
1st Place: ADJ Entour Ice

Contest Rules
Eligibility: The contest is open to everyone worldwide, provided they meet the terms and conditions set forth in these rules and that participating in the contest is legal in the country in which they reside. Employees of ADJ and their affiliated agencies are not eligible to participate in this contest. The ADJ Group of companies includes ADJ Products LLC, Avante Audio, Eliminator Lighting, American Audio, DuraTruss, Accu-Cable, Elation Lighting and Acclaim Lighting.
Deadline: The deadline to enter the contest is 11:59pm (Pacific time) on Saturday, October 31, 2020. No entries received after that time will be eligible for consideration. The winners will be announced via a video published to ADJ’s social media accounts on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020. After the announcement is made, the winners will be contacted via direct message through the social media platform through which their entry was made. It is then the responsibility of the entrant to reply with a valid shipping address before the prize will be dispatched.
Prizes: No cash alternative will be offered in place of any prize. In the event that any announced prize is not available, ADJ reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion.
Submission of Entries: All entries must be submitted by including the hashtag #ADJSpooktacular with a photo or video post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The photo or video must include one or more ADJ lighting, LED video or effects products in use. A list of the products features should be included in the body of the post.
Exclusion of Entries: Any entry containing lewd, vulgar, sexually offensive or racially offensive material shall be excluded from consideration immediately. Any entry that harms, degrades or endangers any person or animal shall be excluded from consideration immediately. Any entry that degrades or defames any person shall be excluded from consideration immediately.
Selection of Winners: The winners shall be selected by a panel of judges chosen by the ADJ Group. Entries will be judged on originality, style and the quality of the material presented. The decision of the judges is final.
Permissions: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to allow ADJ and its affiliated agencies to use their entry, as well as their name and likeness, in advertising, marketing and public relations/promotional material without compensation. The entrant shall hold the ADJ Group and its affiliated agencies harmless against any claims that arise from this use.
Contest Entrant Responsibilities: By participating in this contest, entrants warrant that they truly represent their identity and are not another individual. They further agree to hold the ADJ Group and its affiliated agencies harmless against any claims made by other parties as a result of their participation in this contest. By participating in this contest, entrants warrant that their entries represent original work and do not violate any copyright laws, patent laws or other laws. Participants agree to hold the ADJ Group and its affiliated agencies harmless in the event said laws are violated by their entry.
Tax Responsibility: By agreeing to this contest’s rules, entrants agree to bear full responsibility for any federal, state or local taxes that may arise from winning any prize associated with this contest.
