American Audio has introduced the SCD-100, a 19" rack-mount single CD player with an attractive silver brushed aluminum face plate, and a variety of popular performance features for just $269.99.
With its sleek silver finish, the SCD-100 combines eye-catching good looks with rugged reliability. The CD player was designed to meet the needs of serious audio enthusiasts and home studio operators, with professional features that go beyond the typical entry-level unit. For example, the SCD-100 features Digital Output, which allows it to be used for burning CDs.
Additionally, the SCD-100 can read both CD and CD-R discs, and it includes 8-times Oversampling, a Jog Wheel with 4 search modes, and 1/75 of a second Frame Search. Other features include a +10 track advance button, Instant Play, Pitch Bend Buttons, +/-12% Pitch Bend, and Pitch Display.
