LOS ANGELES -- Two heads are better than one . . . and four heads are truly astounding! Thats the theory behind a couple of new sound-activated lighting effects from American DJ -- the Quadra-Force and Double Squeeze -- which offer the excitement of "multiple heads" in one unit.
As their names suggest, the Quadra-Force and the Double Squeeze produce the effect of multiple fixtures -- four units and two units respectively. Yet each comes packaged -- and priced -- as a single product, providing enough arsenal for clubs and DJs to put on an explosive light show, while holding the trigger on costs.
The Quadra Force is a complete four-unit sound-activated lighting system. Each of the four units projects multi-dichroic rotating moonflower beams that create different gobo patterns.
The Double Squeeze features two independent motorized plates, each with six dichroic filters that spin back-and-forth to project gobos in a tunnel pattern.

QUADRA-FORCE:True to its name, the Quadra-Force is a complete, sound-activated lighting system that includes four individual units. Each of the four units is a multi-dichroic rotating moonflower/gobo effect, which features a rotating mirror piece that is sound activated and will chase to the music. The four units are linked together master-slave to produce a perfectly orchestrated light show.
Adding even more excitement to this fixture, each of the four units comes with a different gobo pattern. The gobo patterns are interchangeable and can be used to create a customized light show.
The Quadra-Force is fan cooled and includes a hanging bracket. Weight is 9 lbs. (master), and 8 lbs. (slaves), and dimenisons are 6"H x 11.5"W x 12.75"L. The suggested retail price of the Quadra-Force is $599.99.
DOUBLE SQUEEZE:The Double Squeeze is a sound-activated effect that will double a clubs lighting excitement, without squeezing its budget. This fixture features two motorized, dichroic mirrored plates, which move independently to the sound of the music, creating two distinct gobo effects. Each plate spins back and forth to project a flurry of gobos in a tantalizing tunnel pattern.
Each plate is also equipped with six dichroic filters that add dynamic color to the funnel-like patterns. In addition to the six dichroic color filters, each of the two plates can project one of seven different gobo patterns. With its ability to scatter a multitude of tunnel effects throughout a large area, Double Squeeze is proof postive that two heads are better than one!
