AMERICAN DJ EXPANDS ITS NEW "AUDIO LINE" OF PRODUCTS.
American DJ has been rapidly gaining momentum with their new audio line of products. The newest addition to the line is the Q2221 or "Q-Deck" mixer. This 10" mixer has something for everyone. To begin with all the scratching DJs will love that it has not only a smooth "feather" crossfader but a crossfader curve switch and hamster switch as well. The transformer switch is moveable so you can select up/down or left/right transforms. For all of you house/techno DJs out there you'll notice that in addition to a three band eq for each channel there are three band cuts switches for each as well. These are full cuts as well. No more of those Numark "cuts" that don't really do much more than a 12 db reduction. When you engage the cuts on all three frequencies all the sound disappears. For all the CD DJs out there the "Q-Deck" has auto-cue outputs for use with American DJ "Q" CD players as well as the Pioneer models. This feature allows for an instant start when the crossfader is moved over. Finally the mixer has two headphone outputs, one on top and one in the front so you don't have to get an adapter to plug in your headphones. Probably the best thing about this mixer is the street price of around $200. This is one of the best new products I've seen so far this year. Go out today and check one out.
