At the heart of the LP 8R are seven powerful 8-Watt RGBW 4-in-1 LEDs that generate bright, saturated colors, smooth pastel shades, and crisp white light with excellent color mixing. Surrounding these are 32 RGB LEDs, which create striking ‘halo’ pixel-style effects, colorful chases, and animated accent lighting that add another dimension to any light show.
Whether used as a traditional wash fixture, a decorative effect light, or a combination of both, the LP 8R offers exceptional versatility. Users can choose from four DMX channel modes — 3, 6, 13, or 38 channels — allowing anything from straightforward operation to detailed programming of the center wash LEDs and outer ring effects independently. The fixture also supports a variety of other operating modes, including Primary-Secondary, Auto Run, Sound Active, and Wireless Remote Control, making it equally suited to fully programmed lighting systems or quick plug-and-play event setups.
Additional professional features include smooth 0–100% linear dimming, high-speed electronic strobe effects, adjustable white balance, and a clear 4-digit LED display for easy configuration. Standard 3-pin XLR DMX input and output connections, along with IEC power input and output for convenient power linking, ensure straightforward installation in a wide variety of applications.
Despite its impressive feature set, the LP 8R remains remarkably compact, measuring just 7.09 x 5.12 x 8.27 inches (180 x 130 x 210 mm) and weighing only 1.76 lbs. (0.8 kg). It is therefore ideal for installation in venues with low ceilings or on stages that are tight on space. Long-life LEDs, rated for up to 50,000 hours, combined with built-in temperature protection, provide dependable performance for years of reliable operation.
