The external activation allows the lights to dance with the pulsating music played throughout the club. The internal device provides the DJ with the option to connect a CD player or turntable to the back, and the lights will move to the beat of that music. This controller can be used in conjunction with the American DJ PP-DMX20 and DP-DMX20 power packs to control non-intelligent lighting as well. *MIDI-PAK ControllerIn keeping with the theme of providing controllers for various uses, the DMX MIDI-Pak controller is perfect for bands and musicians -- and DJs, too --because it can be used with MIDI instruments. Special lighting effects can be triggered by MIDI Keyboards, MIDI Drums, and MIDI Sequencers with the touch of a key. The harder the stroke of a key, the brighter the lights will shine. When the MIDI-Pak is used with MIDI products no other controller is needed.The MIDI-Pak also contains an infrared sensor, providing the option of operating all the lighting effects via wireless remote, putting all the control at the user's fingertips. There are 4 channels each providing 2 AC plugs, and holding up to 600 watts of power per channel.Other features of the MIDI-Pak include: DMX-512 protocol, digital display for DMX channels, and is available in 120V or 220V.
