American DJ has added a new compact, highly affordable laser to its popular line of Galaxian solar-system-type effects, the Micro Galaxian, a trim, easy-to-use unit that produces over 200 green and red laser beams.
When projected on a ceiling or wall, the Micro Galaxians pin-sized beams give the appearance of a galaxy of stars in the sky, creating a stunning celestial show that will ignite any size party or gig. Yet, the Micro Galaxian is amazingly small and compact, weighing just 2 lbs./.6 kg. and measuring a miniscule 2" x 4.75" x 3.5"/50 x 120 x 90mm, making it ideal for DJs, mobile entertainers, nightclubs, bars and even private parties.
Best of all, you dont have to be a rocket scientist to set this pocket-sized powerhouse in orbit. No DMX programming is required; the Micro Galaxian comes with its own built-in programs plus a sound-activation mode. Just plug it in and push a button, and the units shooting laser beams will run through their pre-programmed gyrations or move to the beat of the music. The Micro Galaxian also includes an RF wireless remote control that gives users the convenience of being able to operate it from afar. With the remote, you can control Auto/Sound Mode, Black Out, Color Change (R, G, R+G), and Rotation, all wirelessly at the push of a button.

Safety is another feature that the Micro Galaxian shares in common with its larger siblings. The laser complies with all FDA standards, ensuring that it can be used safely and securely at entertainment venues and parties. A UL-listed multi-voltage power supply (AC 100-240V, 50/60 Hz) allows the unit to go virtually anywhere, another feature that makes it great for mobile entertainers.
The Micro Galaxian is powered by a 30mW green laser and an 80mW red laser. It includes a flexible dual hanging bracket that allows it to sit on the ground or be hung from a wall or ceiling. A fan-cooled effect, the Micro Galaxian is also very energy-efficient, consuming just 9 watts of power at maximum use.
