American DJ has come out with two new police beacon effects, the B6B LED and B6R LED, that are powered by long-lasting LEDs rated at 50,000 hours. A blue and red beacon respectively, the B6B LED and B6R LED combine the fast and furious rotating action of the traditional police beacon with the excitement, long life and other benefits of cutting-edge LEDs.
Great for DJs, clubs, musicians, college dorms, attention-grabbing displays and even home parties, the B6B LED and B6R LED each contain 56 LED bulbs arranged in 8 vertical bars around their rotating center. This configuration allows for more operating options than the traditional beacon effect, which consisted of merely a single bulb and rotating reflector. In fact, the B6B LED and B6R LED can be run in 6 different modes, with different numbers of LED bars turned on, rotating in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The new beacons can also be operated at seven different speeds via DIP switches, giving users a lot more options than conventional police beacons.
