LOS ANGELES -- Two glittering gems in American DJ's treasure chest of lighting effects are shining more resplendently than ever before. The company has introduced the Dual Gem and Super Jewel, upgraded versions of two of its most popular classic sound-activated moonflower effects.
As its name suggests, the Dual Gem is a double version of the companys best-selling Color Gem. By combining two moonflower effects into one compact fixture, the Dual Gem provides twice the lighting excitement of its singular cousin. The Super Jewel is similar to the legendary American DJ Jewel, but has sharper optics, a spectrum of dazzling colors and a bigger beam spread to give this classic gem even more high-carat lighting power.

Dual Gem
The Dual Gem is a two-in-one unit that projects twin multi-color moonflower effects from each side of the fixture. Casting twice the number of beams as a solo moonflower, the Dual Gem can cover a larger room or area, as its brilliant rays sweep back and forth across the floor to the beat of the music.
Upgraded with modern features, the Dual Gem includes an FX switch, which allows it to be operated in sound active, static or continuous rotation mode. A special sensitivity knob has also been added to control the degree of intensity with which the beams respond to the music. With the easy-to-control sensitivity knob, DJs can crank up the effect a notch for some real visual "moonlight madness" or turn it down to create a calmer, cooler light spread.
Weighing only 6 lbs. and measuring a compact 9.25" X 11" X 4.5", the Dual Gem is highly portable and great for mobile use. It includes a hanging bracket and an EZ-Access lamp replacement door. The Dual Gem has a suggested retail price of only $119.95.
Super Jewel
True to its name, this dazzling gem of a moonflower effect has been upgraded with superior optics, more "carats" of brilliant colors and a much bigger beam spread than its popular predecessor. This means that the Super Jewel, like the Dual Gem, is now capable of covering larger venues with its sound-activated dancing beams of light.
The source of the Super Jewel's extraordinary brilliance is a high-power LL-64514 120V, 300-watt lamp. In addition to its stunning brightness, new colors and wider beam spread, the Super Jewel now includes an FX switch for operation in sound active, continuous rotation or static mode. Other user-friendly features include an EZ-Access lamp replacement door and hanging bracket.
The Super Jewel is a fan-cooled fixture that weighs only 7 lbs. with dimensions of 10.25 x 6.5 x 6.25. The suggested retail price of the Super Jewel is $139.95.
