LOS ANGELES - American DJ has hit a home run with the Bat, a new sound-activated green laser effect that's lightweight enough to be taken anywhere. Weighing in at just 2 lbs., the Bat shoots out brilliant emerald-green laser beams in up to 100 different geometric-style patterns.

The Bat comes with 16 preset geometric patterns, and can be operated in three different modes: Auto, Sound Active, and Manual. In the Auto Mode, it will change geometric patterns at regular intervals. Users can adjust the pattern-changing speed from 2 to 10 seconds via an Auto Speed Control knob on the unit.
In the Sound Active Mode, the Bat's geometric patterns will change to the beat of the music via an internal microphone. The Manual Mode allows users to create their own patterns, using two manual programming knobs on the unit. Up to 100 different geometric patterns can be created in the Manual Mode.
The Bat is equipped with a 4.9mW green laser diode. It is fan-cooled and includes a power adapter (120V/60HzDC, 9VUL). The Bat measures 5.5"L x 7"W x 4"H and weighs 2 lbs.
