A Team That Cares – Meet Eddie Salazar

ADJ’s success over the past 35+ years wouldn’t have been possible without great people. The company’s dedicated and close-knit community of skilled, experienced, and passionate women and men all share the common goal of designing, manufacturing, selling, and supporting the best mid-market entertainment lighting, LED video, and atmospheric effects equipment possible. Each installment in this series of short interviews shines a spotlight on one individual from the team, giving an insight into who they are, what they do, and how they care for ADJ customers on a daily basis. This time we meet Eddie Salazar, ADJ’s video specialist.

How long have you been a part of the ADJ team?

Since 2008 I have been calling the ADJ team my second family!

What is your job title?

I am ADJ’s Video Technician, which involves providing specialist support for our full range of LED video panels as well as all the supporting hardware and software.

What is your job function that allows you to show you care for our customers?

My job is all about making sure all our video costumers get the best service possible. I always want to make sure they are happy, whether it’s servicing their products in person or doing troubleshooting over the phone. It feels good to be able to help people out when they have problems, ensuring that they are always able to get the most out of their video equipment. It’s a great feeling to know when customers make it clear that they are very happy with the service I have helped to deliver.

What do you like most about your job?

What I like most about working here is the great environment. I feel like we are a family who always support each other, regardless of if we are working here at the office or out on the road doing trade shows or events.

What hobbies / interests do you have outside work?

Outside of work I like to spend time with family and friends, often at Dodger Stadium, since I am a big Dodger fan! I also enjoy going to concerts because music is one of my passions. I recently went to the Carin León concert here in town, who is a well-known singer-songwriter specialising in Regional Mexican music.

What is something you’ve done or accomplished that people might not know about you?

I would say that I’m at the stage in my life where I can look back and feel proud to have the knowledge that I have now about this industry, not everyone is lucky enough to have such a fulfilling job, working with such a supportive team. To be able to provide for my family is the biggest reward that I’ve accomplished in life.
