Demonstrating its commitment to the house of worship market, ADJ will once again be heavily involved with this year’s WFX Conference & Expo. As well as showcasing a variety of key products from the ADJ range that cover all the bases for creating a modern worship experience through lighting and video, the ADJ team will also be hosting educational sessions to help attendees increase their knowledge, make the most of their existing equipment and make truly informed decisions on new purchases.

Alongside sister company Elation Professional, ADJ will have a dedicated demo room off the show floor that will feature a schedule of presentations, covering a range of different technologies, running throughout the two days of the expo. ADJ’s LED Video Wall Specialist, Corey Saenz, together with ADJ’s East Coast Regional Sales Manager, Edgar Bernal, will give two presentations focusing on the AV Series of LED video panels. In the first, LED Video & Projection (Wednesday 8:30am-9:30am), they will cover all of the major differences and advantages of switching from projectors to the latest in LED video technology. In the second, LED Video & Media Servers (Thursday 10:45am-11:45am), they will provide valuable advice on selecting the correct media server for a church’s particular requirements.

The demo room will also feature a session on the Capture lighting visualization software (Wednesday 10:30-11:30am) and an introduction to the Obsidian Onyx controller range ‘DMX Control made simple’ with Shawn Butcher (Wednesday 3:30-4:30pm & Thursday 9:30-10:30am). All attendees are welcome to attend any of the sessions taking place in the demo room and in between there will be opportunities for one-on-one Q&A and product demonstrations with the ADJ team.

The ADJ Group’s new Vertical Market Manager, Robert Mentele, will also host a training session as part of the event’s Conference program on Wednesday from 12:45pm to 1:30pm in the Pavilion 1 space at the side of the expo floor. As technology and expectations continue to grow and expand, the once-simple methods for illuminating a worship space have grown too. In his presentation, An Introduction To Lighting Systems, Bob will guide attendees through the process of identifying what their particular facility needs in a lighting system and share advice for putting together an effective solution on any budget.

In addition to the demo room, ADJ will also have a booth on the expo show floor where a variety of the company’s range of products will be on display covering all of the essentials of a lighting and video system for modern worship. Highlights, covering the essential areas of key lighting, color washing, beams and GOBOs, house lighting, and video, will include:

A modern warm white ellipsoidal fixture powered by a potent 120W COB LED source, the ADJ Encore Profile 1000 WW offers manual zoom to create a variable 12 – 30-degree beam angle. The fixture offers a type M GOBO slot and is supplied with a set of four generic glass GOBOs. Additional features include: adjustable focus, variable speed strobing and shutters for manual framing as well as both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connections.

ADJ’s brand new Vizi Wash Z19 is a moving head wash fixture that harnesses the power of 19 x 20W 4-in-1 RGBW LEDs. It features variable motorized zoom for a beam angle of 10 – 60-degrees, which means that it can do double duty generating both wide washes for stage and backdrop illumination as well as tight beams for aerial effects. A choice between 3 or 7 LED zones allow for the creation of eye candy effects, while other useful features include 64 built-in color macros, fine 16-bit smooth dimming control, variable speed strobing and a USB port for easy firmware upgrades.

The ADJ Vizi BSW 300 is an extremely bright and versatile moving head fixture powered by a specially designed 300W LED engine that generates a truly impressive output. It can switch instantly between beam, spot and wash duties, and offers a whole host of useful features including motorized focus, rotating replaceable GOBOs and two 6-facet rotating prisms (one linear and one circular). What’s more, it has a smaller footprint than most other movers in its class, making it easy to accommodate on any lighting rig or stage setup.

Utilizing a 150W 4-in-1 RGBA COB (Chip On Board) LED, the ADJ COB Cannon Wash offers a rich palette of colors with smooth mixing between different hues and shades. Ideal for either stage washing or house lighting, it offers a massive 80-degree beam angle but is supplied with easily replaceable 40-degree and 50-degree lenses for added flexibility. It also has a versatile dual yoke that can be used either as a hanging bracket or floor stand, and also features built-in color macros, variable speed strobing and smooth dimming.

The ADJ AV3 is a professional LED video panel offering a pixel pitch of 3.91mm from a configuration of 3-in-1 RGB SMD2121 LEDs. With a brightness of 1000NITS its output will stand out vividly even on a busy stage filled with lighting and it is ideal for displaying song words as well as background textures or live video feeds. The panel is divided into two separate LED modules for easy serviceability and can curve up to 10-degrees (either concave or convex) to allow for the creation of curving LED screens that allow better viewing for congregation members positioned to the side of a stage or to fit with the contours of a curved stage set or sanctuary design.

“The house of worship market is an area of particular growth for ADJ and we are committed to supporting both professional and volunteer church techs not only with excellent products but also with useful training,” comments ADJ USA’s National Sales Manager, Alfred Gonzales. “ADJ’s range covers all the essentials of a modern church lighting and video system, while offering the reliability, affordability and excellent customer support that are particularly essential for church buyers. At WFX 2019 our focus – across our booth, demo room and keynote seminar – will be to help attendees select the right products for their worship spaces to achieve their goals and fit their budgets.”

WFX 2019 will take place September 17 thru 19, with the expo floor open Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. ADJ’s demo room will be W202AB and the booth on the show floor will be #535.
