Stunning scenery, a sea breeze blowing through your hair, good music playing in the background and a cool drink in your hand… sounds idyllic, doesn’t it?

With the 51st Super Bowl set to take place in February at the NRG Stadium in Houston, TX, local venues are preparing for the big party that it is sure to bring to the city. In fact, the ability to show the game on huge screens was a key concern when the audiovisual system for new downtown nightclub VrSi was designed last year.

When the team at Macon Road Baptist Church in Tennessee were planning their new worship and teaching facility, their concept centered on a large and costly stained-glass window and most certainly didn’t involve LED video panels.

Missed LDI? Come see what’s new with ADJ! Following the successful launch of 13 exciting new products at the recent LDI 2016 tradeshow, ADJ and DuraTruss/Global Truss America will be hosting a New Products Open House at the company’s East Coast facility in Miami.

Practically all the lighting fixtures in ADJ’s current range – and on the market in general – support DMX control. This allows all the effects and features offered by a unit to be fully utilized as well as for multiple fixtures to be synchronized into a larger coordinated lightshow. It’s what all large-scale concerts and events use, but many operators of smaller shows – such as mobile entertainers and gigging bands – find the idea of DMX control complicated and even confusing. Here at ADJ we’re all about making our users’ lives easier, which is why for this month’s Ask Alfred I want to tell you about a control solution that makes DMX accessible to absolutely anyone.

Last month I wrote about our New Product Jamboree & BBQ at ADJ’s LA HQ and said that I was sure we’d be opening up our doors again very soon for another event. Well, I was right, and there really isn’t long to wait! In November we’ll be hosting a New Products Showcase at our East Coast facility down in Miami… and you’re invited!

Long-time ADJ customers, Premier Entertainment Group specified an all-ADJ rig to provide color, movement and GOBO projections to create the right atmosphere for Watmark church’s dynamic worship services.

Arguably the most significant professional lighting trade show on the planet, LDI took place this month in Las Vegas. The ADJ team was there in force and used the event to launch an incredible 13 brand new products from a large stand, with a distinctive arched design and an audience stopping lightshow, located right at the front of show!

The Galaxy International Pageant, in Orlando, Florida, was illuminated by an advanced lighting rig featuring more than 40 ADJ fixtures produced by A Premier Entertainment..

I’m sure that you’ve noticed recently that we’ve released two different versions of some of our products, offering a choice between either Warm White or Cool White LED light-sources. But you may be wondering what’s the difference between these two options, which is the best choice for your needs, and if there’s a way to have the best of both worlds. In this month’s Ask Alfred, I’ll aim to answer all of these questions and also highlight some of the products from the ADJ range that offer each of these different options.
