Frequently Asked Questions

Please see our frequently asked questions below. Please feel free to send us your questions by clicking here.

Can the 6 channel P36 LED be controlled by the OBEY3 DMX controller which is only a 3 channel unit?

Unfortunately, it will not work because the p36 led cannot set as a 3 channel mode light. In order to operate the P36 led with a dmx controller you will need a controller that has up to 6 channels of dmx available.

i have 4 of them and i wanna put them on my tee bar is it possible to daisy chain dmx cables into three of them and leave one on sound active so that all of the lights have the same colour at once?

Hello Malcolm,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to say that these lights do not have the master salve feature on them. With that said, you would have to control them with an intelligent board and address them in the same dmx channel to make them change to the same color all at once. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Is it possible to run three of these each one their own DMX address (light 1 on address 1, light 2 on address 7, light 3 on address 13 for instance). If so could you please provide the dip switch setting to do so?

Hello Jim,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, you can have each light on it's own dmx address. Light one will be dip switch 1) on the on position. Light 2) will be dip switch 1,2,3 on light 3) will be dip switch 1,3,4 on                   Let me know if you have any further questions.

Greetings, is it possible to connect the P36 LED to a Light system with a DMX in/out as a slave? Thanks

The P36LED does not offer a Master/Slave option.
