The Vizi Beam CMY is the next evolution in ADJ’s extremely popular Vizi Series of automated luminaires. A versatile beam fixture, it combines immensely powerful output with an extensive collection of beam-shaping features. Lighting Designers can unlock a spectrum of possibilities with CMY color mixing, while high performance 3-phase pan and tilt motors enable lightning-fast movement as well as extreme precision. Designed to produce stunning aerial effects for largescale events and big stage productions, the unit itself is remarkably compact and therefore convenient to rig, transport and store.

As the company continues to expand in the Latin American market, ADJ is preparing to showcase its latest products at the Sound:Check Xpo in Mexico City. On display will be the new ElectraPix Series of robust and versatile battery-powered wash fixtures, as well as the latest additions to the company’s Vizi and Hydro Series of automated luminaires. The much-anticipated IP-rated Jolt Series strobe/blinders will also be on display, alongside the new WMS2 high resolution LED video panel and Aria X2 wireless lighting control solution.

ADJ utilized the recent Prolight + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany to showcase a variety of the company’s newest lighting and LED video products. On display were the latest additions to the company’s Vizi and Hydro Series of automated luminaires, as well as the new ElectraPix Series of robust and versatile battery-powered wash fixtures. The booth also showcased the new WMS2 high resolution LED video panel and the much-anticipated IP-rated Jolt Series strobe/blinders, as well as the Aria X2 wireless lighting control solution.

Twelve of ADJ’s Focus Spot 7Z moving head luminaires have been installed in the new Midco Arena at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Supplied by local technical specialist Pinnacle Productions, the lights are the crowning jewels of the 154,000 square-foot arena. They are utilized extensively to enhance the production of home games for the Augustana Vikings through custom GOBO projections, spotlighting player entrances, washing the ice in vibrant colors, and creating intricate texture patterns.

A variety of ADJ fixtures, including Focus Spot 6Z moving heads and 12PX HEX pars, have been installed as part of a complete renovation of the Diamondback Music Hall in Detroit, MI. The lighting rig, designed by Ryan Richards and supplied by Audio Rescue Team, provides a versatile solution for the venue, which hosts a mixture of live music performances and dance parties.

90 ADJ fixtures were utilized last year to illuminate the main stage at Lakefest, a rapidly growing family-friendly music festival held in the picturesque grounds of Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Hereford, England. Featuring headline sets from Johnny Marr (of the Smiths), electronic music outfit Clean Bandit, indie rockers Embrace, and pop-punk band McFly, each with full supporting line-ups, the four-day festival attracted a sell-out crowd of 20,000. Lighting for the main stage was supplied by up-and-coming production company ProLX Productions, which utilized its stock of Focus Spot 6Z, Focus Spot 4Z and Vizi Beam RXONE automated fixtures, as well as static 32 HEX Panel IP and 12P HEX IP LED wash luminaires, to create a bold and versatile rig capable of adapting to a varied musical lineup.

Twenty of ADJ’s multifunctional Jolt Panel FX LED strobe / wash / blinder fixtures were utilized on country music artist Russell Dickerson’s recent US tour. Providing high impact blinder hits, vibrant color washes and dynamic ‘eye candy’ effects, the luminaires proved to be a perfect match for Dickerson’s energetic performances. Meanwhile, Production Designer Scott Cunningham was impressed by the units’ solid build quality, versatility, and affordability.

Based in the Dutch city of Weert, Munttheater is a mid-size theater that hosts both touring professional shows and local amateur productions. Thanks to a municipal authority grant, the organization has recently invested in an upgrade to its inventory of automated luminaires motivated by a desire to move to energy efficient LED technology and futureproof its lighting department. After extensive research, which included hiring the fixtures for a one-off production, the theater’s technical team decided to purchase ADJ’s versatile LED-powered Focus Profile and Focus Flex L7 luminaires.

Having completed a successful first leg in the fall, San Holo’s ‘Existential Dance Music Tour’ will hit the road again in early 2024 for a further string of dates. The 33-show run, which included the Dutch EDM artist’s first arena show – at the Kia Forum in his adopted hometown of Los Angeles back in October – features an intense production which heavily utilizes the ADJ Jolt Series of multifunctional LED fixtures. Providing massive strobe hits, vibrant color washes, big ‘eye candy’ looks, and subtle background effects at different points during the show, the rig features Jolt Bar FX, Jolt 300 and Jolt Panel FX fixtures, which are utilized almost continuously throughout each concert.
